摘　　要：THE construction of the Danjiangkou Reservoir in the 1960s involved six large-scale relocations.The impending project to heighten the dam needs to totally rehouse 345,000 people in two provinces,164,000 in Henan and 181,000 in Hubei.In August 2009,they began streaming into new homes outside of the reservoir area,and the final group moved out two years later.
