摘　　要：弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫是英国现代杰出的女作家、文学理论家、批评家、意识流小说的开创者之一,创作了大量的意识流小说,其中《海浪》是重要的代表作。作者通过唯美主义特征、心理展示及反传统意象的运用,对作品的现代主义特色进行了完美的展示。Virginia Woolf is a brilliant woman writer,literary theorist,critic and one of the pioneer writers of stream-consciousness novels in modern British literature.Of all her stream-consciousness novels,The Waves is a representative work of great importance.With the use of aestheticism characteristics,exposure of psychology and anti-traditional images,Virginia displays the characteristic of modernism perfectly.
