摘　　要：本文在对湛江南珠产业发展现状进行描述的基础上,揭示其产业发展在生产、加工、市场、环境污染和管理体制等方面存在的问题;运用SCP模型深入分析问题背后的原因,发现市场结构不合理、市场行为不规范以及市场绩效低下是制约湛江南珠产业发展的关键原因,加快产业结构升级、规范流通市场和加强南珠产业综合管理等是南珠产业发展的应对之策。This paper reveals the industry development problems, such as production, processing, markets, environmental pollution and management system on the basis of describing the present conditions of Zhanjiang pearl industry development. Then, this paper uses SCP-Model to analyze the reasons behind the problems thoroughly, and finds that unreasonable market structure, non-standard market behavior and low market performance are the key reasons of restricting Zhanjiang pearl industry development. Finally the paper puts forward further suggestions and countermeasures such as accelerating the upgrading of the industrial structure, regulating circulation market, strengthening industry comprehensive management, and so on.
