摘　　要：《补墙》是弗罗斯特以新英格兰乡村为背景的一首诗歌,但诗中完备的戏剧元素、强烈的戏剧性、悲喜剧特点的融合、主题的严肃性和道德教化作用、题材的现实性和自然性、情境对人物性格的决定性都使其显示出"严肃戏剧"的特点。可见,各种文学体裁之间界限并非壁垒森严,而是相互影响、相互借鉴,弗罗斯特的诗歌和"严肃戏剧"在表达对人类的美好愿望和"劝谕读者"等诸多方面是息息相通的。Mending Wall is a short lyrical poem by Robert Frost, set in New England pastoral landscape. However, many features of this poem make it assume a strong color of ＂Serious Drama＂, such as its complete dramatic elements, joint characteristics of tragedy and comedy, thematic seriousness, moral enlightenment, realistic and natural subject matters, and environmental determinism on personality. The literary forms have been influencing and borrowing from one another, and Frost＇ s poetry and ＂Serious Drams＂ have the same concern in terms of cherishing didactic hopes for human blessings.
