摘　　要：目的:了解我国农村地区妇幼卫生工作现状,分析存在的问题,为进一步改善妇女儿童健康状况,完成千年发展目标的承诺提出有针对性的政策建议。方法:对400个县级行政单位进行调查,对妇幼卫生的相关指标进行分析。结果与讨论:妇幼卫生工作总体进展较好,地区差异仍然存在;孕产妇住院分娩工作成绩显著,健康管理工作推进相对缓慢;儿童保健工作仍需加大力度。建议:继续加大对中西部地区妇幼卫生工作支持力度,缩小地区差异;稳步推动孕产妇保健工作进一步发展,降低孕产妇和婴儿死亡率;加强儿童健康管理工作力度,提高儿童健康水平。Objective：This article aims to learn the status of rural maternal and children health in China,analyzes present problems and propose targeted policy,in order to improve the present condition of maternal and children health as well as accomplish the Millennium Development Goals.Methods：To investigate 400 county-level administrative units and analyze collected data of maternal and children health.Result and discussion：The work of maternal and children health gained obvious progress on the whole,regional differences still exist;the work of maternal hospital delivery gained significant achievements,but improvement of maternal health management is relatively slow;children health care needs to be put into more attentions.Recommendation：To pay more attention on maternal and children health in middle and western regions,so as to reduce regional differences;to promote further development of maternal health and reduce maternal and infant mortality;to strengthen children health management as well as to improve children health status.
