摘　　要：语言是文化的载体,也是文化的主要表现形式。英语教学是语言教学,其目的是发展学生的交际能力。不同国家的文化差异会影响交际的成功,英语教学中应注重交际,树立文化意识。文化教学应讲究策略,注重挖掘词汇、语篇中的文化信息,创设文化语境,模拟真实交际。Language is a carrier and a main expression of culture.English teaching is aimed to cultivate students＇ communication ability.Cultural differences often impede effective communication;therefore,English teaching should put emphasis on cultural education and communication competence.This paper holds that cultural education should stress strategy,striving to find cultural information in vocabulary and discourse and create cultural context to imitate real communication.
