Influence of Er^(3+)-Doping Amount on Up-Conversion Luminescence Properties of Er^(3+):BaY_2F_8 Crystal

摘  要:利用温度梯度法生长了Er3+:BaY2F8晶体。测量了样品的吸收谱、上转换荧光发射谱和上转换发光强度与激光泵浦功率的对数关系;分析了Er3+的上转换可见发光机制和Er3+掺量对Er3+:BaY2F8晶体发光强度的影响。结果表明,在相同泵浦功率的980 nm光激发下的Er3+:BaY2F8晶体的上转换发射谱中,552 nm绿光和653 nm红光的发光峰的强度随着Er3+掺量的增加而增大;Er3+掺量小于3.0%(摩尔分数,下同)的晶体,552 nm绿光的上转换发光占主要部分;Er3+掺杂量大于3.0%的晶体,653 nm红色光上转换发光占主要部分。552 nm绿光和653 nm红光发射皆为双光子过程。利用双光子吸收、激发态吸收、能量转移、交叉弛豫和多声子无辐射跃迁等过程解释了这一现象。The Er^3+:BaY2F8 crystal was grown by a temperature gradient method.The absorption spectra and up-conversion fluorescence emission spectra and up-conversion luminescence intensity versus laser pump power of the Er^3+:BaY2F8 crystal was measured.The up-conversion visible luminescence mechanism of Er^3+ ion and the effect of Er^3+-doped amount on the luminous intensity of the Er3+:BaY2F8 crystal were investigated.The results show that the intensities of green(552 nm) and red(653 nm) up-conversion emission peaks were increased with Er^3+ content increasing in the up-conversion emission spectra of the Er^3+:BaY2F8 crystal excited by 980 nm laser with the same pump power.The green emission was dominant at Er^3+ content of 〈3.0% in mole,and the red emission prevailed at Er^3+ content of 〉3.0% in mole.The green and red emissions were due to the two-photon absorption process.The simultaneous green and red emissions and the change of relative intensities could be explained via the two-photon absorption,excited state absorption,energy transfer,cross-relaxation and multi-phonon radiation processes
