摘　　要：微博客是博客、IM和SNS的多项优点的结合和发展。文章较为系统地研究微博客的多种特性,列举其在外交、政府、企业、科技领域应用的案例,并着重论述其在图书情报机构的几种应用。Micro - blogging combines and develops the advantages of Blog, IM and SNS. The article systemically studiesthe multi - features of micro blog, enumerates its applications in diplomacy, government, enterprise, S ＆ T domains. And the paper also has emphatically discussed some kinds of implication in information ＆ library institution.
