摘　　要：古代类书是我国封建社会一种独有的现象,自《皇览》始,经魏晋、南北朝、隋唐、五代、宋、元等朝日臻完善,终至明清达其巅峰,其后日趋衰败。究其原因,普遍认为与科举制度、考据学兴起、完善的封建专制统治等有密切关系,对此,文章试图从不同的角度进行探讨。The ancient Genus-books is a proprietary phenomenon in china＇s feudal society, started from ＂imperial view,＂ through Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Sui and Tang, Five Dynasties, Song and Yuan etc. and toward improving, and finally in Qing Dynasty reached their peak, followed decline gradually. The reason is closely related to the imperial examination system, the rise of textual criticism, and the perfect feudal autocratic rule, therefore, the article attempts to explore from different angles.
