摘 要:采用新的室温湿法混料工艺,以聚乙烯树脂粉末为基体、炭黑和石墨为导电填料,采用易挥发溶剂乙醇为分散介质,经搅拌-抽滤-烘干-模压成型,制备了钒电池用导电塑料双极板。结果表明双极板的最佳配方为:w(PE)∶w(炭黑)∶w(石墨)=45∶40∶15,最佳的成型温度在140~160℃,最佳的成型压力为10~15 MPa;双极板电阻率<0.5Ω.cm,抗拉强度>15 MPa;以此导电塑料为集流板,在70 mA/cm2的电流密度下,电流效率达到96.5%,电压效率达到83.5%,能量效率达到80.6%。In this paper,a new wet dispersion process was reported for the preparation of conductive plastic bipolar plate for VRB(Vanadium flow battery).In the conductive plastic,the polyethylene(PE) was used as continuous phase,and the carbon black and graphite were as conductive fillers.The volatile solvent alcohol was used as dispersing agent,which was removed by the filtering and drying process.The whole preparation process included four steps: stirring,filtering,drying and mold pressing.The mechanical,conductive and the battery performance of the prepared bipolar plate were studied.The results show that the best prescription of the composite conductive plastic was w(PE)∶w(carbon black)∶w(graphite)=45∶40∶15.The best temperature is 140-160 ℃ and the best pressure is 10-15 MPa for the mold pressing.The electrical resistivity of the conductive plastic is lower than 0.5 Ω·cm and the tensile strength is higher than 15 MPa.Under 70 mA/cm2 current density,using this carbon fabric strengthened material as bipolar plate,the voltage efficiency for the tested vanadium flow battery is 83.5% and the current efficiency is 96.5% and the energy efficiency is 80.6%.
