从功能句子观角度谈英语流畅段落的写作技巧

摘　　要：功能句子观是由布拉格学派奠基人Vilem Mathesius提出的。功能句子观通过研究句子以何种方式与语境发生联系,进而研究句子的信息结构。据此,本文提出英语段落写作中应该先概括性信息,后明晰性信息;先"已知"信息,后"未知"信息;尽早实现句子之间的衔接;尽早出现句子的主语和谓语。Functional Sentence Perspective was first forwarded by Vilem Mathesius, founder of the Prague School. It studies how a sentence is related to its context and the information structure of sentence. Benefiting from the theory, English paragraph writing should move from general information to more specific information, put 'given' information before 'new' information, make a link between sentences as soon as possible and try to include the verb and its subject in the first few words of a sentence.
