摘　　要：China, the hometown of bamboo, boasts the richest resource of bamboo forest in the world, hence its title as the 'kingdom of bamboo.' The beautiful plant has forged an indissoluble bond with man's cultural life. As early as 7,000 years ago, Chinese ancestors used bamboo to make arrowheads, bows and arrows for entertainment, hunting and war. Since ancient times bamboo has been widely used in the daily life of the Chinese people.中国是竹的故乡,拥有世界上最丰富的竹林资源,因而被称为“竹子王国”。竹子与人类的文化生活结下了不解之缘,早在7000年前,我们的祖先就用竹制作了箭头、弓弩等武器,用于娱乐、捕猎或战争。自古以来,在中华民族的衣食住行中,到处可见竹的倩影。
