摘　　要：美国 2 0世纪著名小说家司各特·菲茨杰拉德在小说《大人物盖茨比》中运用多种色彩意象 ,对于人物刻画 。The usage of color image by Scott Fitzgerald,the 20th century American realist,in his masterpiece“The Great Gatsby”was analysed in his article.It played a key role in character describing,plot developing and finally helped to expose the novelist's understanding on the theme of “The American Dream'and his moderniststyle.
