摘  要:长白山地区是典型的近代火山活动地区之一。笔者等应用遥感图像对白头山火山锥的形成过程、喷发期次、喷发特点进行了研究。还对白头山火山锥、望天鹅破火山口及朝鲜境内形成时代较早的南胞台山破火山口进行了研究,为这一地区火山活动的深入研究提供了资料。The Baitou Peak volcanic cone,Wangtian'e caldera and south Baitou Peak calderas,located in the territory of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, are studied by using remote-sensing images,which reflect the forming process and characteristics of the Baitou Peak volcanic cone objectively and, at the same time,regularities of the volcanism in the Baitou Peak were revealed. The south Baitou Peak volcano formed for the first time,then the Wangtian'e volcano subsequently and the Baitou Peak volcano at last. Three calderas stand like three legs of a tripod (forming three peaks on the Changbai Mountain.
