摘　　要：可持续发展的一般原则,即发展经济要与社会需求和生态环境相互平衡、相互协调。湖南有色金属工业100多年来的发展取得了辉煌的成就,同时也对生态环境造成破坏。在可持续发展已成为全人类必须共同遵守的准则的当代,有色金属工业可持续发展战略必须包括三大要素:有色金属生产与生态环境的良性循环相兼容;节约包括能源在内的资源及其资源的综合利用;技术和管理创新以保证上述两大要素的落实。The general principle of continuable development is that economic development should be balanced and coordinated with social demands and ecology environment. glorious achievements have been made in Hunan nonferrous metal industry ever since more than 100 years ago, but the ecology environment has in certain extent been destroyed in the meantime. Nowadays, the continuable development has become a rule that it must be jointly obeyed by the whole humankind, continuable development strategy of nonferrous metals industry therefore must include three elements which are:making the ecology environment better and better while developing nonferrous metal industry; comprehensive utilization and saving of resouces including energy, innovation of technology and administration to guarantee the realization of the two elements mentioned above.
