加快西部交通发展的若干建议

摘　　要：我国西部地区资源丰富 ,是少数民族聚居区 ,但长期处于贫穷落后状态。随着东西部差距加大 ,如何逐步缩小东西部经济差距 ,是一个具有十分重要政治意义和经济意义的问题。作者认为 ,要加快西部经济发展 ,首先应加快西部交通的发展 。Western China, where most minorities live, is rich in natural resources, but this area has been backward in its economic growth. As the economy gap between the eastern part and the western part of China grows, how to narrow the gap is of more and more political and economic importance. The author of this paper believes that, in order to acceterate the economic development in the area, improving the regional transportation system has become on essential prerequisite. Therefore he sets out specific suggestions for the improvement to be made accordingly.
