摘　　要：24s-Stigmasta 4,25-diene,3 beta,6 beta-diol 1,a new sterol has been isolated from the algae Laurencia majuscula collected from the south China sea. Its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Compound 1 was cytotoxic against the P-388 cell line with an IC50 value of 1.2 mu g/ml.24s-Stigmasta 4,25-diene,3 beta,6 beta-diol 1,a new sterol has been isolated from the algae Laurencia majuscula collected from the south China sea.
