摘　　要：The general situation of the forest resources and supply of timber as well as developing survey of forest prod-ucts industry in China was introduced. In front of competition of the 21 st Century, the developing stralegy of sustainable for-estry and reasonable utilization of wood resource were formulated by China goveniment. With thst developing ofMDF(Middle Density Fibcrboard), PB (Particleboard) and Chip production, the better utilization of the residues of logginglumbering and timber processing have been obtained.
