摘　　要：从初始的负压下沉锚桩到桶形基础于1994年在北海成功应用的技术发展过程。然后,对负压作用下桶形基础的负压桩在下沉阻力,上拔承载能力,水平承载能力等方面的机理、特性和设计基础做了扼要说明。最后,提示了桶形基础设计中需要考虑的特殊问题。The article looked back briefly on the course of the technical development of bucket foundation from the origin of suction emplaced anchor pile to the successful application of bucket foundation in North Sea in 1994. Then the writer depicted the mechanism .characteristics and design foundation of the penetration resistance,pull-out capacity and lateral load capacity of suction pile and bucket foundation under suction. Finally the particular items specifically considered in design pointed out.
