摘  要:This paper describes the experiences obtained in the development, improvement and verification of a three dimensional numerical model that simulates free surface flows with sediment transport. Emphasis is given to the boundary condition near the bottom ill solving the convection-diffusion equation for loose/alluvial and rigid/lined beds. Results of the numerical simulations upstream of a lock and dam system carried out for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineersl Vicksburg District,are presented in comparison with field measurements.This paper describes the experiences obtained in the development, improvement and verification of a three dimensional numerical model that simulates free surface flows with sediment transport.
