摘 要:1 Introduction Generally beryllium is considered as a bivalent element, which implies that its oxidation state is+2. However, almost all compounds of beryllium are covalent ones with partial ionic character, even those formed with the most electronegative elements F and O, e. g. BeF<sub>2</sub> and BeO.
