摘　　要：More recent work in our lab showed that a kind of lymphocyte proliferation suppressive factors in rat or mouse serum was found after the treatment of restraint for 10 h and the suppressive activity in the stressed serum was found to be totally blocked by general anesthesia induced by methane, indicating a very important role of central nervous system in the generation of this suppressive factor(s).
