摘　　要：It has been reported since 1978 that the thermal stability of the laser active F⁺₂ centers in alkali halides could be increased by doping with oxygen, hydroxyl and some divalent metal ions, and the mechanism of these effects were also investigated. In recent years, more results were obtained in the study of F⁺₂-like centers, which could be formed in doped samples, e.g. the O^2--F⁺₂ centers. One very important result was that the F⁺₂
