摘　　要：Bis-(1’-phenyl-3’-methyl-5’-oxopyrazol-4’-yl)-phthaldione, an acyclic β-diketone type quadridentate chelating agent, was synthesized for the first time by the aμthors. Due to the ferro-philic and rock-philic geochemical properties, scandium is highly dispersed with a complicated composition. Besides, the properties of scandium are very similar to those of the other 16 rare earth elements. Hence, the separation of scandium from both the other rare earth and non-rare earth impurities is an important subject.
