摘 要:根据TOGA—COARE强化观测期间的资料,分析热带西太平洋西风爆发(WWB)的天气型特征。提出引发和维持WWB过程的低层流场基本有三:1.北半球南下冷源与SE信风结合型;2.北半球南下冷气流与SPCZ上的热带气旋结合型;3.南北取向由双气旋构成的偶极子型流场。指出该偶极子相对稳定在更日线附近,并解释了这一事实存在的原因。还讨论了WWB的多时间尺度性,以及WWB过程中气象要素场变化特征等问题。In this paper, discussed and analysed are the synoptic features of westerly wind burst (WWB) over the tropical western Pacific, based on the intensive observation data of tTOGA-COARE. It is presented that the low -level stream fields which trigger and maintain the WWB process can be classified into three basic patterns: (1) cold surge from the northern hemisphere combines with the southeast trade wind (2)cold air from the northern hemisphere comines with tropical cyclones on SPCZ and (3) a North - South double - cyclone dipole. It is pointed out that the double -cyclone dipole possesses a relatively stationary position at the date line, and this can be explained with the pattern of the monthly mean wind. The multiple - scale features and variation of meteorological element fields of the WWB process are also discussed.
