摘　　要：本文论述了自1985年GKS标准公布以来所取得的成果,并提出了一些目前尚存在的问题。结合最近制订的几项新图形标准:PHIGS+,X Windows,PEX,说明了图形标准化工作的新进展,提出了我国开展这方面工作的一些意见。This paper is concerned with many issues of graphics standards, these in clude the achievements of graphics standards since the first ISO graphics standar GKS released at 1985, and some existing problems. The new development of graphics standards are described, these touch some new graphics standards:PHIGS +, X Win-dow, PEX, PostScript. Finally, some proposals for developing this area in our coun try are offered.
