摘  要:用含流体多孔介质中Ⅱ型运动裂纹对剪切断层的快速传播作了系统分析,对断层不稳定性建立了判据,并对这一理论在地震学中应用的可能性作了探讨。Shear fault in a fluid - infiltrated elastic medium is modeled by a mode Ⅱ crack in fracture mechanics based on the model of PALMER , RICE and RICE , SIMONS . Following this model and considering the inertia effect caused by high - speed propagation of a shear fault. a dynamic analysis is given in this study . In the condition of high - speed propagation of the fault the boundary value problem can be simplified and easily solved . The critical shear stress (τ-τf) for judging the instability of the fault is determined . It contains the Poisson ratio v. of the unchained porous medium and V/c, and V/c2 , where V is the fault speed and c1 , e, are, respectively , the velocities of longitudinal and transverse waves corresponding to the drained elastic medium . (τ and τf represent the applied and frictional shear stresses , respectively ). The results show that the pore effect is significant in the dynamic case . At last some possible applications to seismology are discussed .
