摘　　要：It has been proved that the light-induced apparent absorbance change of thylakoid suspension at 540 nm (ΔA₅₄₀)reflects the shrinkage of thylakoids. Recently, this method has been used to detect the energized state of thylakoids in vivo under various circumstances.
