摘　　要：The genetic loci for serum complement components C2, factor B (BF), C4A and C4B are very closely linked to each other, and are shown to be situated within the major histocompatibility complex (MHC)on the short arm of the human chromosome 6, between MHC Classes Ⅰ and Ⅱ regions. They are referred to as Class Ⅲ genes of the MHC.
