摘　　要：‘元春’是‘满天红’(Prunus persica Batsch.)ב白花山碧桃’(P.davidiana Franch)的杂交后代中的96-6-27单株经自然杂交实生,通过对种子冷藏处理,温室育苗获得的优良观赏桃品种。花朵红色,鲜艳美丽。需冷量550h,需热量低,开花较早,能弥补早春红色桃花的空挡,适合保护地栽培,能顺利地在春节前开放;在露地栽培可以作为早红品种。‘Yuanchun’resulted from an open pollenation of 96-6-27 which is from the cross Mantianhong（Pruns persica Batsch.）× Baihuashanbitao（P. davidiana Franch）. The seed was produced by stratification,and then cultivated in the greenhouse. The flower is red and bright-colored. The chilling requirement is 550 h,and the heat requirement is lower,the blossom is early and able to make up the absence of red peach flower in the early spring. Cultivated in greenhouse,it can bloom before Chinese Spring Festival.
