摘　　要：美国的社区图书馆非常普及、完善、发达,是居民日常生活的一部分。伊利诺伊州亚塞社区图书馆管理规范,制度化程度高;读者借阅频繁、踊跃,资料利用率和文献传输频率较高;图书分类排架比较灵活,以方便读者使用为目的;馆际互借工作开展得较好;读者活动注重实际,平实而普及。总之,亚塞社区图书馆整洁、典雅、温馨、和谐,具有浓郁的文化气息,充分体现了美国社区图书馆在社区不可或缺的地位。As a part of the daily life of residents, American community libraries are very popular, perfect and developed. Arthur Public Library in Illinois has following characteristics, such as： the management is normative, the degree of institutionalization is very high; book borrowing is frequent and active, the literature utilization rate and transmission are high; classification and arrangement are flexible, in order to facilitate readers to use books; interlibrary loan is working well; reader activities are pragmatic, natural and widespread. In a word, Arthur Public Library is a clean, elegant, warm and harmonious library, it is full of cultural atmosphere, and embodies that American community libraries are indispensible in communities.
