摘　　要：凯萝·邱吉尔1997年短剧《心之所欲》以赋格式的叙事结构、陌生化的叙事话语、颠覆性的叙事角色以及复合式的叙事风格反思20世纪末英国家庭伦理的变迁。夫妻爱情的褪色,子女与家长之间的疏离都表明了物质文明高度发达后英国现代家庭出现的伦理缺失与亲情荒芜,"家"所承载的温暖含义只是一个"乌托邦"而已,传达了剧作家对人生、对世界的悲剧性探索与追问。Caryl Churchill＇s 1997 play,Heart＇s Desire,explores changing values and norms of the British family at the end of the 20th century through a musical structure（the Fugue）,the process of de-familiarization,the disruptive change in characterization,and the interweaving of realistic and surrealistic elements.The indifference between husband and wife and the separation between parents and children indicate ＂the family as a repository of warmth＂ is just a utopia.Focusing on the absence of love and the loss of family values underneath the increasing material prosperity,Heart＇s Desire reveals Churchill＇s exploration of the meaningless world and the tragic human life.
