摘　　要：资源共享是解决图书馆信息资源的有限性和用户信息需求的无限性矛盾的主要措施之一。从开展图书寄存服务的方法、意义、存在的问题和建议等方面展开,认为开展图书寄存服务是将社会资源,如藏于民间的信息资源和企业的信息资源纳入图书馆共享体系的有效手段。Resource share is one of the major measures taken to resolve the contradiction between the limitedness of library information resources and the unlimitedness of the users＇ demand for information. This paper introduces book deposit service from such aspects as its method, significance, problems and suggestions, and argues that this service is an effective means of integrating social resources （information resources that are scattered among people and enterpises） into the sharing system of libraries.
