摘　　要：文化是一个民族的精神和灵魂,是现代化建设的重要组成部分,直接关系社会文明进步,关系国民素质提高。一个国家的发展、民族的振兴,不仅需要强大的经济力量,更需要强大的文化力量。因此文化对经济发展具有重要的作用,通过对文化及其功能的分析,探寻现代文化对新疆经济跨越式发展的意义。The culture is a national spirit and soul,and an important part of the construction of modernization.It directly relates social civilization and progress and improvement of national quality.The development of a country and the rejuvenation of the ethnicities need not only a strong economic strength,but more powerful cultural power.Therefore culture plays an important role on economic development.Through the analysis of the functions of culture and modern culture,this text explores the significances of economic great-leap-forward developments.
