摘　　要：大学的最深刻本质是文化:大学是一个教育组织,更是一个文化组织;大学教育的本质是"以文化人";大学是社会文化中心,是社会理性文化的策源地;大学又是一种"文化人共同体",即文化精英的组织。大学最本质的属性是文化;同时它又必然具有经济属性和政治属性。The basic essential attribute of college is culture, i. e. college is not only a educational organization but also a cultural organization ; the nature of college education is to teach students cuhure; college is the center of social culture and the birthplace of social rational culture ; besides, college is a literacy community or cultural elite organization. In addition to the essential attribute of culture, college also has economic and political attributes.
