摘　　要：对最佳说明推理模式的理解依赖于对说明概念以及对说明进行比较的标准的理解。利普顿原创性的对比性因果说明模型和说明的潜在理解力标准,在科学假说或理论评价方法论上具有重要影响。利普顿的对比性因果说明模型有助于从众多原因中挑选出说明性原因,却不能解释为什么间接原因不能对事实进行说明;其说明的潜在理解力标准避免了传统说明标准的困难,但若要应用于实际操作还需要进一步的规定和澄清。The concept of explanation and the criterion of comparing explanations are essential to the understanding of IBE.Lipton＇s original contrastive casual model of explanation and potential understanding criterion of explanation have an important impact on the evaluative methodology of scientific hypothesis or theory.His contrastive casual model can help people to pick out the explanatory reason from various reasons,yet it can＇t explain why the indirect cause of a fact can＇t explain it.Though the potential understanding criterion of explanation can avoid many difficult traditional criterion of explanation,but it still needs some further specification and clarification before its application.
