摘 要:诗人米·莱蒙托夫和画家米·弗鲁贝尔在自己艺术创作中都曾始终不懈地探索过"恶魔"主题,创作过"恶魔"形象。后者为诗人莱蒙托夫长诗《恶魔》配的插图可谓是诗歌和绘画的珠联璧合。莱蒙托夫笔下的恶魔是矛盾的集合体。一方面,对读者而言,他是具有诗人本身气质和情绪的道德哲学观点的艺术象征形象,另一方面,他又是福音书和俗世意义上的反基督形象。恶魔形象的双重性体现了诗人本人对世界理解的矛盾性。画家的恶魔是一个象征形象。他渴望远离尘世的庸俗,他笑傲江湖,冷观世事。不管画家如何努力,他创造的恶魔形象其实始终与诗人莱蒙托夫笔下的恶魔形象有着割不开,剪不断的内在联系。M.Lermontov,shaped the poetic demon image in his lyrics,especially in the poem The Demon.M.Vrubel,was constantly exploring the "demon" image in his painting career.The illustrations he provided for Lermontov's The Demon may well be said to be a perfect fit of poetry and painting.The demon image described by Lermontov is a complex of contradictions.On the one hand,to the reader,the demon is an artistic symbolic image with the poet's temperament and sentiments and his viewpoints of moral philosophy;on the other hand,he is the anti-Christ image both of the Gospels and in the earthly sense.The duality of the demon image reflects the contradiction of the poet's own understanding of the world.The painter's demon is a symbolic image:he longs to get away from the vulgar world;he lives proudly in the world and observes it in a calm manner.No matter how hard Vrubel tried,the demon image he created was closely related to the one Lermontov described.
