摘　　要：在校园信息化建设的发展中,越来越多的校园网开始使用应用虚拟化技术和产品来达到节约经济成本、节能、降低安装部署和管理的难度的目的。本文结合目前Vmware虚拟机提供的管理方法,阐述了对Vmware的监控方面提供的手段和不足,提出了一个基于构建私有MIB库扩展SNMP方式进行虚拟化平台的监控的框架。该框架与各种虚拟化平台本身提供的监控手段相比,具有灵活性高、可订制性强、安全性较高等特点,也易于集成到传统的SNMP网管中,减少用户对昂贵的商业虚拟化监控软件的依赖。Nowadays more and more virtualization techonologies are used in campus network applications to reduce economic costs, energy consumption, difficulty of deployments and managements. In this paper, the current Vmware management methods, elaborates on the weakness of monitoring Vmware virtual machines is explained, and a private-MIB based virtual machine monitoring framework is proposed. Compared with other various means of monitoring, this framework is customizable, strong and with high security. The framework can be easily integrated into the traditional SNMP network management systems, thus reducing the need for expensive commercial virtualization monitoring software.
