摘　　要：图书馆社会责任既反映了社会的实际需要,也反映了图书馆职业共同体以及图书馆理论研究者对图书馆社会责任担当的自我觉醒。图书馆社会责任的内涵包括图书馆社会责任的定义、图书馆社会责任的特征和图书馆社会责任的基本内容。Library social responsibility reflects the actual needs of society and the self - awakening of library professional community and library reseachers about library social responsibility. This paper discusses the meaning of library social responsibility, including its definition, features and the basic contents.
