摘　　要：图书馆社会责任是在做好图书馆的本职工作之外,积极关注并帮助解决社会问题。高校图书馆社会责任具有图书馆社会责任的共性,又有其特点,主要通过传承和发扬传统文化、关注社会热点和缩小信息鸿沟等方面来承担。国内外图书馆界的实践有助于高校图书馆更好地承担社会责任。Library social responsibility means paying attention to social problems and help to solve them besides libraries＇ own work.Academic library social responsibility has common features with that of all libraries,but also has its own characteristics,which mainly performs through inheriting and promoting traditional culture,paying attention to social hot spots,and narrowing the information gap and so on.Practice of libraries at home and abroad will help the academic library do it better.
