摘　　要：自2001年"规范汉字表"第三次立项以来,人名用字定量多次成为全社会关注的热门话题。基于这个背景,本文从文化的传承和保护、多元文化国家个人身份的确立以及文化接触和融合这三个侧面,考察和总结国际专名研究及其最新趋势,力求从更广阔的视野揭示中外在专名规划方面所面临的共同难题及挑战,从而为处理和理解汉字定量问题中专名因素的困扰提供借鉴和参考。Since the Standardized Chinese Character List was projected for the third timein 2001, the quantitative problem concerning the characters of name has been a hot topic in China. In terms of cultural inheritance and protection, the establishment of individual identity in a muhicultural country, and cultural contact and integration, this paper examines and summarizes international onomastic studies and latest developments. By presenting the common problem and challenge in language planning both at home and abroad within a wider perspective, the paper tries to provide some reference in dealing with the onomastic factor in Chinese character quantitative problem.
