摘　　要：立足于作者的实际工作经验,就科技情报信息机构如何开展竞争情报的研究和服务工作进行探讨,提出以专利知识产权分析为重点,情报信息机构传统服务项目为辅助的主要工作内容,为国内对竞争情报研究和服务尚处于摸索阶段的情报信息机构提供研究方向和工作思路。Based on practice, the author researches on Competitive Intelligence （CI） research and operation of the intelli- gence and information institutions. The article raises the point that CI research and operation should put an emphasis on pa- tent analysis and play an assisting role in traditional business. The paper provides new research directions and working ideas to CI business exploration to some intelligence and information institutions.
