摘　　要：揭示了实施总分馆制是山西省公共图书馆事业跨越发展的必由之路,阐述了山西省图书馆在总分馆制实施中的定位和作用,在分析总结山西省公共图书馆总分馆实践的基础上,提出了推进实施之对策。The paper reveals that taking the branch-library system into practice is the essential way to realize spanned develop- ment of Shanxi library. It illustrates location and function of Shanxi library in the operation of branch-library system in Shanxi public library and provides the countermeasures to put the operation forward on the base of analysis and sum-up of the operation of branch-library system in Shanxi library.
