摘　　要：用符号学的角度探讨建筑问题,形成了建筑符号学;用语言和文化的联系来揭示中国语言的特征,形成了中国文化语言学。试图用语言符号学观的诸观点研究中国古典园林中各种元素,以期收获启示运用于现代居住区景观设计。Architectural issues can be addressed from semiotic perspective, thus forming the architectural semiotics. The link between language and culture reveals Chinese language characteristics, thus forming Chinese cultural linguistics. This paper tries to employ views of linguistic semiotics to study the elements in the Chinese classical gardens, and the enlightenment for landscape design in modern residential areas.
