摘　　要：京师译学馆以外国语言文字训练为主,辅以外国文学课程的教育,为民国时期通过外语学习外国文学,进而改造旧文学、创作新文学这一外语观嬗变历程之先导,是近代中国高校英文系建立进程中承上启下关键的一环。The professional training of English existed in the College of Languages of Peking,which focused on the trainings of English language,supplemented by foreign literature courses in English education.This mode of training led the way of studying foreign literature through language learning in order to reform old literature and create new one during the period of the Republic of China,which is a key link in the establishment course of English departments in modern Chinese universities.
