摘 要:提出了一种灵活的上行链路调度算法,该算法能够支持具有可变速率多模式宽带(VMR-WB)的VoIP业务.通过与DTX/CNG技术的结合,解决了上行链路资源浪费、附加接入延时和额外开销等问题.该算法使用IEEE802.16e协议中的2个保留比特分别提供用户的模式信息和ON/OFF状态信息,基站通过获取它们来有效地分配上行链路资源.仿真结果表明,通过与UGS、rtPS和ertPS等传统算法的比较,该算法在资源利用率、用户容量、吞吐量,以及在较大用户数目时的延时等方面的性能均优于传统算法.In this paper, a flexible uplink scheduling algorithm that can support a DTX/CNG integrated variable-rate multimode wide-band (VMR-WB)VolP over IEEES02.16 system was proposed, with the objective of solving the problems of uplink resources wastes, additional access delay and overwhelmingly large overhead. In the algorithm, the base station (BS) utilized two reserved bits in the generic MAC header of IEEE802.16e to indicate the mode tran- sition and the ON/OFF voice activity state of each supscriber station (SS), so as to assign uplink resources efficiently. Through numerical validation and performance analysis, the proposed algorithm performs more efficiently than the conventional algorithms (UGS, rtPs and ertPs) in terms of enhancement of resource utilization and total throughput and reduction of packet transmission delay. Moreover, it is proved that the algorithm can support more voice users than the conventional algorithms.
