摘　　要：随着互联网规模的快速发展,传统网络管理已无法满足实际需求,一种新的基于XML的网络管理被提出。比较了基于SNMP的传统网络管理和基于XML的网络管理,表明了将XML技术运用于网络管理的优势。介绍了基于XML的网络管理体系结构,并且对过渡阶段所需的SNMP-XML翻译网关进行研究,重点讨论了SNMP-XML翻译网关中的MIB转换技术,即将MIB文件转换为XML文件。Because of the rapid development of interact, the traditional network management cannot meets the practical demands, therefore, a new network management based on XML was proposed. In order to demonstrate the advantages of the XML - based network management, the traditional network management was compared with the XML - based network management. Then, the architecture of XML - based network management was introduced. The SNMP - XML translation gateway which was necessary during the transition period was also studied, and the MIB conversion method in SNMP - XML gateway, like converting MIB files into XML files was discussed in detail.
