摘　　要：根据我国乡镇卫生院的机构数、人员数、床位数、医疗服务情况等历史数据,对我国乡镇卫生院发展的历史阶段进行实证研究得出,乡镇卫生院的发展离不开政府的大力支持;乡镇卫生院的卫生人员数和床位数影响人口死亡率;乡镇卫生院总数已满足相关政策要求。建议我国要进一步提高乡镇卫生院的卫生人员数和床位数。According to the historical data of institutions,staffs number,beds,medical services of rural hospitals in China,the stages of the development of Chinese rural hospitals were empirically studied.We drew the following conclusions：rural hospitals can not develop without government＇s support;the number of health personnel and beds in rural hospitals affect mortality;the total number of rural hospitals has to meet the requirements of relevant policies.Finally,the suggestions for further improving the number of health workers and beds in rural hospitals were put forward.
