BASIC THEORETICAL CURRICULUM OF URBAN PLANNING IN CHINA FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF MIT

摘  要:分析美国麻省理工大学城市研究与规划系网上开放式的课程组织与设置,比较我国高校城市规划专业与之在课程建设中存在的差距,指出国内在"学以致用"误导下的城市规划专业基础理论知识结构中只重视规划理论忽略城市分析的问题,对我国高校城市规划基础理论课程内涵与知识结构构建提出建议,提出将CDIO工程教育理念引入到规划基础理论的教学过程中,激发学生自主学习的积极性,提高课程的教学实效。This paper analyzes the organization of online open course ware of the Department of Urban Researching and Planning in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and compares it with the urban planning curriculum system in the colleges and universities of China. It finds that there is a big gap between them. It points out that under the mislead idea of learning is to use, the basic theoretical knowledge structure of urban planning in China attaches more importance to planning theory, but less to urban theory. Furthermore, it puts forward some constructive suggestions on establishing the knowledge structure of the basic theoretical curriculum of urban planning in the colleges and universities in China. In addition, it adds that the CDIO engineering education concept should be introduced into the teaching process so as to stimulate the students' self-teaching enthusiasm and improve the teaching effect.
