现行人民警察警衔制度探究

摘　　要：警衔制度源起于欧洲,此后各国也相继开始实行警衔制度,由于历史条件、文化背景、政治制度等差异,各国制定的警衔制度不尽相同。我国警衔制度发展可追溯到清末,1992年,《中华人民共和国人民警察警衔条例》正式颁布实施,至今已18余年。随着社会的进步,公安事业的发展,现行人民警察警衔制度逐渐显现其弊端。只有逐步完善人民警察警衔制度,使其适应新形势下的公安工作,才能适应公安事业的发展需要。The police rank system originated from Europe,and countries all over the world began to set up the system one after another afterwards.Due to various reasons,the police rank system differs in different countries.The development of police rank system in our country can be tracked back to the end of Qing Dynasty.In 1992 our police rank system was carried out.It has been eighteen years since people＇s policeman rank system enacted,with the increasing of our society and the development of public security cause,current police rank system reveals its disadvantages gradually.We should improve it step by step to adapt to the public security work in new situation,and then can accelerate the work of public security.
